This week in my First Year Seminar (FYS), I met with a group that included four other girls. My professor, Professor Little, assigned the groups. My group consisted of Kelsie, Nia, Juliana, Anna, and myself. Nia, who came up with the group name, is a communications major from High Point, NC. Nia is a communications major. Nia and Kelsie have been friends for over 9 years. The two of them share the same birthday (June 2nd) and both are cheerleaders here at High Point University. Along with majoring in business, Kelsie is also working for a minor in Spanish. Juliana is a marketing and entrepreneurship major from New York. Juliana's birthday is August 18th and she played both soccer and lacrosse while in high school. Juliana is roommates with our fifth group member Anna. Anna is from Maryland and enjoys being outdoors. Her birthday is December 18th. As a group we discussed many of our likes and dislikes. We talked about our siblings, favorite colors, hobbies, and favorite foods. Nia and I both listed french fries as our favorite foods, Kelsie and Juliana listed ice cream as their favorites, and Anna listed macaroni and sushi as her favorites. Based off of our first conversation as a group i can tell that we will be a great group and we will all work well together.
